So a few weeks ago I found out from a friend that in order to apply to the school within our university that trains teachers, we need to have an internship. Apparently my advisor apparently felt it unimportant to tell me this "trivial" detail last year when I met with him, but despite him, I've managed to secure an internship, YES!! Well, technically it's not a formal internship, but it starts Tuesday at the local elementary school, and I'll be working mainly with kids with mild to moderate disabilities. Ahhh, now I'm one step closer to applying to the School of Education in January!! Then again, I'm only one step closer... Still need to gather contacts, create a resume (resume for an undergraduate program? yeah, this place is crazy...), write an essay, fill out the application, keep up my g.p.a., and hope I get in! But STILL!! Now there's less of a chance that I will stab my so-called "advisor" the next time I see him, and my plans to corrupt the--I mean, TEACH--the youth of America should still work out! AHAHAHAA, HOORAY!
